The Albino Squirrel. A Symbol of Change.

Last week I started to regain my ability to dream. Saturday night I finally had my first encounter with animal spirit in the dream realm. The white squirrel.

During my encounter I was in the woods with the children. I was gathering walnuts and cracking them open to make food. I heard rustling of leaves. The children got nervous because it sounded like a large animal. They ran to my side. As I turned to see where the sound was coming from, these two white squirrels came rolling down the hill in the woods. Playing and jumping through the leaves while we just watched.

The white squirrel tells me that my guardian angel is with me. That the spirit realm has opened for me. White squirrel symbolizes the creative, resourcefulness, and frugal nature of squirrels. The symbolism of white squirrels is a positive one. Some say it is a good omen.

The white squirrel represents the growth of my dreams. I'm preparing myself for a new opportunity and the success will come gradually. Squirrels are resourceful animals, able to balance everything in their environment with great efficiency. Though they are infamous for being naughty, squirrels actually practice responsible playfulness.

Squirrel Spirit is known for having quite a voice. When they play, they chatter. When they sense danger, their vocalization warns other squirrels nearby. To me, this means finding my voice and using it effectively. Being mindful of my words and honoring their power is part of Squirrel Medicine.

Historically, in mythology and lore, a white or albino squirrel is a symbol of change coming. This was considered to be a welcomed and good omen, indicating that troubling times are almost at their end, and the best is still to come. This continues to give me hope for the future.

I have been patiently waiting for this dream. I have been acknowledging spirit medicine in reality, but there is something so special about the dream realm. I can’t help but smile and feel excited!

I can relate to this animal medicine deeply. I went on a in depth research for squirrels learning about their history, adaptability, knowledge, and the way they survive. It was all interesting to learn about. I can’t wait to use this medicine in my daily life!

Thank you for taking the time to read my post 💚
