Flower Essences

ree

What are flower essences? They are infusions of the energetic qualities of flowers. They address the nature and wellness of one's soul and emotions, as well as the connection to one's whole being.

Flower essences are made from freshly picked flowers that are then put into spring or distilled water. You then can place this in under the sun or moon. After their vibrational medicine is infused into the water, they are then diluted further, potentized, and preserved in a glass jar or dropper bottles for indigestion. My kids have fun making simple flower essences with safe plants from our yard. Always make sure you are sourcing your plants from somewhere SAFE (NOT SPRAYED, NOT NEAR A ROAD, OR TOXIC). Do your research before ingesting any plants. Check, check, and triple check. Be 100% sure you have the correct plant.

Flower remedies are a gentle medicine. This means they work deep into our emotional being, and our subconscious. Flower essences are homeopathic. Subtle shifts in our energy can cause ripples in our lives for a beautiful and gentle energy field. Children can have so much fun mixing up these flower essence potions! They are sweet (use vegetable glycerin for children) and typically are mild in flavor.

To quote Dr. Bach about the magnificent power of flower essence healing:

"...To raise our vibrations and open up our channels for the reception of our spiritual self, to flood our natures with the particular virtues and to wash out from us the faults which were causing them. They are able, like beautiful music or any gloriously uplifting thing which gives us inspiration, to raise our very natures and bring us nearer to ourselves and by that very act to bring us peace and relieve our suffering. The cure not by attacking disease but flooding our bodies with beautiful vibrations of our higher nature in the presence of which disease melts as snow in the sunshine."

Another way to enjoy flower essences are to pick some fresh flowers and drop them into water for a bath or foot bath! Super easy and fun to do with the kids!
