Dismembered by Butterflies

My dreams are something I’ve been dedicated to dissecting and finding powerful messages within them. Amongst the craziness that they bring, I find hidden spiritual messages. There are specific moments when animal will appear and connect with me in that moment. Leaving me with a feeling of curiousness in the waking world.

I went back to waitressing at the end of October. While I have been loving it, I sometimes find myself with even less time for myself. I find myself dreaming of the things I want to do, rather than just doing it.

One thing I will say confidently, is I have (we all do!) the power to manifest whatever it is I truly want. With this being said, I know that daydreaming or sporadically thinking of the things I want to do are not enough to make it come into my reality. When we want something, manifesting takes more than just thinking about the things we wish of. It takes writing it down, organizing, planning and then speaking about it as much as you can. Putting it out into the universe (verbally) so then it can come into your reality is the most important piece to manifestation.

On Saturday, I worked a double where I didn't get home until late. This drained me beyond belief. I felt off and untrue to myself that night. I even said it to my husband. Sunday morning, I woke up early after having dreams of butterflies. Beautiful magical butterflies. They grabbed my attention right away during my dream.

Dreaming of butterfly’s represents spiritual, mental or emotional transformation, success, manifestation, growth and new discoveries of your inner truth. Butterflies can give clarity on where you are on your spiritual journey and help you see yourself at your highest vibration. This message allowed me to pull back from my situation in reality and evaluate whether or not I was serving my highest vibration.

As I have awoken into my true gifts, I have felt as though I have transformed into a new being with a new identity. This relates a lot to the whole transformation of a butterfly.

But the symbolism of a butterfly isn’t just limited to a spiritual awakening. It can also be related to a new discovery of self that might not be spiritually related. This could be a new relationship, the launch of a new business idea, moving to a new place, or accepting a new job offer. Anything that expands us beyond our comfort zone and gives a sense of expansiveness in life is illustrated by Spirit in the form of a butterfly!

The most interesting part of my dream was not only seeing these magical butterflies but also them landing on my face and body. As they landed upon me, I really could feel their tiny little legs dancing on my skin. This represents a part of my physical nature that has a powerful spiritual gift of manifestation. From my understanding, this is a sign that I am a master manifester and when I’m aligned with my highest truth, my manifestations come into reality very quickly.

Our physical body is a vessel that brings our spiritual pursuits to the physical world, so this dream is a message that I have the strength, knowledge, and capabilities to transform my ideas into reality. I know this is true because throughout my life, I've seen the true magic of it happen before my own eyes.

While the butterflies were landing on me, they started to slowly pull pieces of myself away. There was a pulling sensation, like a sliver coming out of your flesh.

In shamanism, dreams of being bitten, eaten, or dismembered by animals are actually very positive dreams. They represent the death of a part of you. This doesn’t mean physical death; it is more a symbolic death. Death brings new opportunities, and it represents a void that can now be filled with a higher version of yourself. In all spiritual traditions, death is usually followed by new life, resurrection, and the emergence of a higher divine being in oneself. This is quite similar to the lifecycle of a butterfly.

"After you go through a period of dismemberment by a spirit animal, you can start the healing process of re-membering. This is a period of remembering who you are and why you are here."

This is a highly spiritual dream and is a sign that I’m being reminded to continue my journey as a healer. It is said people who dream of butterflies have strong spiritual gifts that should not be ignored. I will do all that I can to help children and people during this lifetime. I love what I do with every ounce of my being no matter how big or small anyone may think it is. To me, it is everything.
