Herbal Consultations

I am originally from Sandy Hook CT but now reside in Northwestern CT. My husband and I have three children, two boxer pups and three chickens. Most of our time is spent time together is outdoors learning in nature. Being connected with mother earth is extremely nourishing and important to us. 

 

At the age of 6 I started to speak with the flowers and trees. My first friend was actually a tree! I would come home from school and find myself climbing up my favorite tree to tell her all about my day. I found myself making lots of fun potions with my cousins and pretending to ride our broom sticks around our grandmother's yard. Over the years I have remained close with nature, listening to her while she guided me toward the green path of a becoming healer. 

 

In 2020 I embarked on my journey of a healer. I have taken full immersion courses over the years. Any spare time I have is dedicated to burying my head deep into my books of education. I love to learn! This is why I began teaching children about herbalism right here out of my home in Bethel. We talk to plants, make medicines, do art, and give our gratitude to the blessings earth has to offer! Learning is my hobby, whereas teaching children is my passion. 

 

As I started my Clinical training, I knew this is what I wanted to do. Going through my own healing journey over the last three years with my education has given me the firsthand experience and knowledge to be a Clinical Herbalist (which I like to call a Hedge Healer). Over the last few years, I have come in contact with some inspiring Healers who have shaped me into the person I am today.

 

My herbalism & wellness business, Kelly’s Realm of Remedies llc, offers holistic healing, herbal education courses and magical events for children ages 4 to 14. Writing, wandering into the woods, being with my family and teaching children is what brings me joy and peace. After completing Foundations of Herbalism Level 1 Training and Herbal Practice & Protocol Level 2 Training with Twin Star Herbal Education, I wanted to share my knowledge with the children in the homeschooling community. My heart’s work is to make this world a better place by teaching the next generation of children about herbalism and alternative healing modalities. I seek to empower children by encouraging them to incorporate the magic of plant medicine into their everyday life, while fostering a deeper connection with nature. I teach my own personally designed courses to both children and their parents, allowing them to create lasting bonds over the ancient wisdom of plan medicine. I have also completed Twin Star Herbal Education’s Flower Essence Practitioner Training, The Practicing Herbalist Clinical Training, and Journey Through the Wheel of the Witch: A Year of Pagan Sabbats.

With my education, knowledge and experience, I have fully emerged into a Hedge Healer. Helping children and adults feel empowered when it comes to their health is my upmost priority!
